Wow! C Jean Horst has outdone herself with this quilt — 36 very rich prints in blue-grays/teals/burgundy/tans/ browns are used and the patchwork is made up of over 6000 pieces. Lovely and amazing! Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Note the precision of the patchwork piecing. Signed in ink on back corner tag by C Jean Horst.

Many little patches make this a special quilt, no two quilts are the same. Each patch has quilting on it so it makes for many, many stitches, about 7-8 stitches per inch. The back is a solid cream one piece cotton fabric.

Definitely a Heirloom quilt, this is a very special quilt, no two quilts are the same. Very precisely pieced and each patch has quilting on it so it makes for many, many stitches, and about 7 stitches per inch. The back is a print cotton fabric.

What a lovely design (we think that it is called Cheese Box!) and what wonderful coloring! Made by a young local Mennonite woman who clearly is very talented. Note the care taken with the piecing ant the fine quilting too. Exceptional value!
