Irish Chain quilts are known to have been made in Lancaster since the early 1800’s. While this quilt doesn’t look at old fashioned, the bright bold fabrics, the quilting pattern, and the border are all similar to Irish Chain Quilts made in Lancaster in the early 20th Centuries.
