She has made a common quilt very unique with her choice of batiks. While each patch is unique, all blocks are working together beautifully to show off an awesome collection of cotton batiks. She also has a documentation tag on the back corner which gives the name of the quilt, the maker, the location, the date, and the fabric content as well as a note “made in the USA.”

    Here is a bright Amish colored  wall quilt or throw that mimics the solid Amish colors that the ladies and men and even children wear in their clothing.  They love black and the bright solid colors.   The quilt has a sleeve for hanging already attached and the stitching is very small at 8 stitches per inch.  This pattern is actually also called Roman Stripes but done in Amish solid colors it is truly an Amish quilt.   The backing is also 100% cotton and is black.  Signed and dated by CJH of Lancaster County.
