Patchwork quilts were more for warmth in the past, but now they are valued for the beauty of individual choices of fabric and design. This one is an interesting array of blues and tans that work together to give a warm cottage feel to the room. This is a terrific quilt and deserves a beautiful home.

She has made a common quilt very unique with her choice of batiks. While each patch is unique, all blocks are working together beautifully to show off an awesome collection of cotton batiks. She also has a documentation tag on the back corner which gives the name of the quilt, the maker, the location, the date, and the fabric content as well as a note "made in the USA."
