A delightful quilt for a mariner or anyone! This quilt would look amazing in a beach house! Really great distinctive coloring and an exceptional amount of gorgeous hand quilting. The Sailing Ship block is one of those attractive traditional patchwork block designs that is rarely used today. The quilt top was made by an Amish woman living in north eastern Indiana and the quilting was done by one of her Amish neighbors. Part of a collection she call ‘Quilts Remembered’.  The back of the quilt is covered with the same gray/brown fabric as used on the front.  Includes a sleeve for a hanging rod. Would make a great crib quilt!
