Karel chose a classic flower basket for the center block with four Dresden plate blocks surrounding it. The triple border sashing adds extra interest along with the surrounding triangles with beautiful quilting on them. A lovely green floral border completes the look. Floral Wreath

Tulips, buds and flowers are combined in a pleasing arrangement with corner appliqué blocks surrounding the center wreath along with ribbon star blocks that are a great contrast. Next comes a checkerboard border that completes the look and Karel chose classic colors along with a floral border to frame the quilt. The workmanship is beautiful in this special piece. Dresden Plate Variation
$400.00This delightful quilt came about as a result of Karel's love of the Dresden Plate and 8-pointed star blocks. The floral wreath in the center has been surrounded with Dresden plated all hand appliquéd. Notice the sweet flowers added to the center of the 8-pointed stars. Karel chose scrappy fabrics for the sashing surrounding each block. All the hand work on the quilt have been expertly done from the appliqué to the quilting. A hanging sleeve along with Karel's signature patch are included on the back of the quilt. -
Foxy Friend
