This sweet Christmas quilt features 4 wreath blocks set on point with a touch of sparkle used In the background. Red squares create a lovely frame on each wreath. The finishing touch are the wool appliqué holly leaves and berries set on a background featuring pine boughs. The precise work in this quilt is beautiful including the hand quilting.

A hanging sleeve and Karel’s signature tag are included on the back.

    Sawtooth stars  with cornerstone blocks have been set on point to create this patriotic small quilt. Notice the gold hand-appliqué stars along with Old Glory that have been used around the outside set-in triangles.     Flowers and friendship stars go hand in hand along with a fabulous paisley border that was the inspiration for the color scheme in Karel’s original design.  Her signature triple border and corner squares surround her central floral design.  Note the use of just a touch of red stripped fabric that has been selected for a pop of color.   Precise hand-quilting creates a diamond design in each corner triangles.  Red, Blue and Ivory hint at classic Americana with touches of stars and stripes thrown in.
