Wow! C Jean Horst has outdone herself with this quilt which includes 2 queen size pillow shams to match — 36 very rich 100% cotton prints are used and the patchwork is made up of over 6205 pieces. Lovely and amazing. Squares are about 1″ x 1″ sewn which is why it is called a Postage Stamp. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Note the precision of the patchwork piecing. What a beautiful and unusual version of a Tumbling Blocks quilt pattern that has 6 star points around each of the 3- Dimensional looking blocks! Fantastic! It has been pieced by an Amish lady who just loves to do Tumbling Block pattern of all kinds on her treadle sewing machine. C Jean Horst has picked 100% quality quilters fabrics for the top and the backing. This is the first of it’s kind to be offered here and Jean loves arranging fabrics for different quilt patterns. In fact, she has been making quilts for 20 years and still loves it!!

Note the care taken with the complicated piecing, and the fantastic border fabrics. Both pieced and quilted by an Amish friend and signed and managed by C Jean Horst who selected the fabrics and supplied an accurate pattern for sewing as well as oversaw the steps through the project.
