Great rendition of one of those classic but rarely seen designs. Outstanding fabric selections by C Jean Horst. Well sewn and hand quilted by an Amish woman. Patchwork quilts were more for warmth in the past, but now they are valued for the beauty of individual choices of fabric and design. This one is an interesting array of blues and tans that work together to give a warm cottage feel to the room. This is a terrific quilt and deserves a beautiful home.

Here is a beautiful King size Trip Around the World quilt. This pattern is similar to the Postage Stamp quilts that have 36 fabrics and patches cut and sewn leaving a 1 ” block. This Colorsplash quilt is using 24 fabrics, cut and sewn so each block is 1 1/2″ square making this more economical to make.
