  • Unusual! Look at all those diamonds! A very attractive design that we have not seen before. Wonderful fabrics selected by C Jean Horst. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman, and signed in ink on back by C Jean Horst along with the name of the quilt, date, location, fabric content and the note of it being made and quilted by an Amish woman and a note that is was made in America. Notice the hand quilted cabels going one direction and the straight lines running the other way.

BUT for the many of you who have NO interest in sewing, it is available here as a finished quilt. It is a tumbling blocks that has 9 blocks of dark fabrics, 9 blocks of medium fabrics and 9 blocks of light fabrics grouped together to make each large block. A real interesting grouping of many batik fabrics are used to create each of the sides of the blocks. It was pieced by an Amish woman and quilted using 7 – 8 hand stitches per inch. A nicely arranged design.
