This design (sometimes also called “Sunshine and Shadow”, or “Trip Around the World”) is one today’s most frequently made patchwork designs because it allows Lancaster’s quilt designers to show-off their ability to carefully combine many fabrics. This quilt’s 24 coordinated fabrics were selected by C Jean Horst. It deserves an “A”. The quilt is signed and dated.
