Here is a beautiful Queen size Trip Around the World quilt that will remind you of the ocean’s surf. This quilt is great to decorate around the colors of a steal blue or a brighter teal!! This pattern is similar to the Postage Stamp quilts that have 36 fabrics and patches cut and sewn leaving a 1 ” block. This Colorsplash quilt is using 24 fabrics, cut and sewn so each block is 1 1/2″ square making this more economical to sew. What a beautiful combination of 24 different blues in batik fabrics selected by C Jean Horst. Sewn by a local Amish woman — note the careful patchwork piecing and the fine quilting. This quilt is symmetric meaning all borders are equal on all 4 sides.
