A pretty nine patch quilt made in a traditional on-point setting with red and plaid patches, and natural plain blocks. The small gray border complements the plaid patches and the red binding.
The backing is the same creme color fabric in the plain blocks.
This quilt measures 39 inches wide and 47 inches long.

    ‘Antique Roses’ is a two-color quilt. The roses are a vintage print on a red background, and I used a tan fabric on the “light side” pathway of the quilt.   All the roses, leaves and vines are  quilted in burgundy thread.  The back of the quilt is a traditional cream color muslin.   The length of the quilt can be folded up over the pillows,  and the roses are quilted across it,  as well as at the bottom border, finished with diagonal quilted lines.    The quilt  measures 96 inches wide and 106 inches long.   (the bottom border is folded up over the footboard to show the quilting).
