This quilt would look fabulous if you turned back the pillow throw and stacked pillows on the head end because the quilt back is repeated in the fabric print that is in the top side. Fabric selections with quality backings of the same like print is a goal for Jean’s quilts and sets them apart from all the others. She is working very hard to purchase enough fabrics to do this for many of her quilts. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Photographs can not begin to capture its beauty! -

They are color fast cotton prints in greens, golds, reds and blues selected by C Jean Horst, Lancaster’s renowned quilt designer. Flying Geese Queen Size
$1,115Another of C Jean Horst’s amazing and well made quilts. Flying Geese is a very organized pattern with 4 sets of geese flying north, south, east and west and forms a star in the joining block. This is a three fabric quilt that repeats throughout. Well made and unusual patchwork. Well quilted by an Amish woman. This quilt was also pieced by an Amish woman who often likes her treadle sewing machine better than her solar powered Bernina sewing machine. Amish are forbidden to have electricity in their homes, but that never hinders their quilt making skills! This quilt has 7 hand quilted stitches per inch. -
