The blending of fabric colors, patchwork border and applique details are just a few of the details added to the quilt. Perfect, even, hand quilted stitches make this a masterpiece. Very well made by a local Amish woman in her Lancaster County Pennsylvania home. The back of the quilt is covered with an off white star 100% cotton print fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

Made in Lancaster by a Mennonite woman and quilted by a Amish woman. This quilt was pieced by a 91 year Amish women and used the old antique treadle sewing machine to piece the complete quilt top. This is a treasure!!

Look closely and you will see that the border has borrowed 1/4 of the star parts from the center design to dance around its outside edges on all 4 sides. Magnificent design that is simply beautiful. 100% cotton fabrics in the entire quilt. The hand-quilted stitches measure 8 stitches per inch. It is also hand quilted and the hand stitches are beautifully even. The outer border of this quilt reminds me of a coral reef with interesting pattern design. The backing is a light aqua print. So beautiful and unique.
