  • What a charming but beautiful quilt. This pattern is an original by C Jean Horst and is NOW available for our fellow-quilt makers!!! Please email cjh@amishcountryquilts.com if you would like information on purchasing the pattern or even the fabric kit. BUT for the many of you who have NO interest in sewing, it is available here as a finished quilt. It is a tumbling blocks that has 9 blocks of dark fabrics, 9 blocks of medium fabrics and 9 blocks of light fabrics grouped together to make each large block. A real interesting grouping of many batik fabrics are used to create each of the sides of the blocks. It was pieced by an Amish woman and quilted using 7 – 8 hand stitches per inch. A nicely arranged design.
