Signed and dated by its creator, the well respected quilt designer, C Jean Horst of Lancaster. The back of the quilt is covered with a fine 100% white cotton print that coordinates perfectly with the top of the quilt (see photo of backing). The hand quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 8 stitches per inch.  It’s fresh and perky and so current with decor styles. Elegant!

The backing is a one piece tan tone on tone cotton fabric. The quilt is a combination of a Log Cabin and a Lone Star all in one quilt. Fabrics and colors selected by a Mennonite woman and quilted by a Amish women. Was pieced by a 93 yr. Amish woman and sewed on an old treadle machine. So a lot of details went into this quilt.
