This quilt is beautifully hand quilted using 8 hand stitches by a local Amish woman. Signed by CJH, it designer. The back of the quilt is covered with a beautiful soft batik print of 100% cotton fabric shown on one of the photo shots. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch and the quilt has a back corner tag that documents the name of the quilt pattern, designer, fabric content and made in USA by our Amish friends. -

The back of the quilt is covered with a 100% quilters cotton in a beautiful multi print that blends with colors of the quilt. (photo shows the backing which could make this quilt reversible – its beautiful) The quilting density is excellent. The hand quilting is great at 8 stitches per inch. The back corner tag documents the name of the quilt, the maker and fabric content as well as a comment about being made in the USA. Fabulous and outstanding in color! A brilliant combination!

Here is a beautiful Queen size Trip Around the World quilt that will remind you of the ocean’s surf. This quilt is great to decorate around the colors of a steal blue or a brighter teal!! This pattern is similar to the Postage Stamp quilts that have 36 fabrics and patches cut and sewn leaving a 1 ” block. This Colorsplash quilt is using 24 fabrics, cut and sewn so each block is 1 1/2″ square making this more economical to sew. What a beautiful combination of 24 different blues in batik fabrics selected by C Jean Horst. Sewn by a local Amish woman — note the careful patchwork piecing and the fine quilting. This quilt is symmetric meaning all borders are equal on all 4 sides. Makes a stunning quilt to hang.
