This beautiful king size quilt has a very striking star in the central design and its burgundy and gray and black star radiates out to give the star an almost splintered look. The fabrics are so beautiful and blend nicely with the beautiful pieced borders. Look closely and you will see that the border has borrowed 1/4 of the star parts from the center design to dance around its outside edges on all 4 sides. Magnificent design that is simply beautiful. 100% cotton fabrics in the entire quilt. The hand-quilted stitches measure 8 stitches per inch. The backing of this quilt (shown of one of photos) is also 100% cotton and is a beautiful medium gray print. Pattern design by Dolores Yoder.
