A lovely Double Wedding Ring quilt in Burgundy and Navy Blue prints. Very lovely bright fabric selections, a few prints have been replaced with prints very similar to prints shown. Background fabric is a fine tone on tone cream cotton print. Pieced and quilted by Amish woman. The back of the quilt is covered with a solid cream with gold scrolling print cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 80 linear inches of stitching per square foot. Very nice quilting, the stitching is good with about 7-8 stitches per inch.

This Cathedral Window is a gorgeous, timeless heirloom! It captures the inspiration of a beautiful church window, allowing us to have a little part of a cathedral in our homes, especially if you hold it up to the light. This is not the same as a traditional quilt as it has no batting- with so many layers of folded fabric, batting is not necessary. A very difficult and time consuming design! The backing is also muslin that is part of the folded process. This Cathedral Window quilt is VERY well sewn by machine. The quilt is finished beautifully with triangles on the edges.
