Definitely has vintage and antique vibes, though the quilt itself is new. Note the abundant fine quilting. The quilt top was made by an Amish woman living in northeastern Indiana and the quilting was done by one of her Amish neighbors. Part of a collection she calls ‘Quilts Remembered’. Includes a sleeve for a hanging rod.

The hand quilting is wonderful and the quilt has a back corner tag that is signed and dates the name of the quilt pattern, designer, fabric content and made in USA by our Amish friends. This beautiful quilt has a very striking star in the central design and its navy and teal points in the star radiate out to give the star an almost splintered look. The fabrics are so beautiful and blend nicely with the beautiful pieced borders. Look closely and you will see that the border has borrowed 1/4 of the star parts from the center design to dance around its outside edges. Magnificent design that is simply beautiful. 100% cotton fabrics in the entire quilt. The hand-quilted stitches measure 8 stitches per inch. The backing of this quilt is also 100% cotton and is a beautiful teal medium to dark print. Pattern design by Dolores Yoder.
