This beautiful quilt has a very striking star in the central design and its navy points in the star radiate out to give the star an almost splintered look. The fabrics are so beautiful and blend nicely with the beautiful pieced borders. Look closely and you will see that the border has borrowed 1/4 of the star parts from the center design to dance around its outside edges. The outer border is navy and the inner is a beautiful blue. Magnificent design that is simply beautiful. 100% cotton fabrics in the entire quilt. The hand-quilted stitches measure 8 stitches per inch. The backing of this quilt is also 100% cotton and is a beautiful very light ivory print. Pattern design by Dolores Yoder.

The back of the quilt is covered with a 100% quilters cotton in a beautiful tone on tone batik green print that blends with inner borders of the quilt. (photo shows the king size backing which is blue) The quilting density is excellent. The hand quilting is great at 8 stitches per inch. The back corner tag documents the name of the quilt, the maker and fabric content as well as a comment about being made in the USA. Fabulous and outstanding in color! A brilliant combination!
