The wheels on the bus song is what inspired this fun children’s quilt which features a sunny yellow bus in the center. Whimsical cars and a pick up truck done in cheerful colors with embroidered details surround the bus. The pattern features bright colored patchwork which frame the hand appliquéd vehicles. A pretty dusty rose color and plaid nine patch blocks made in a traditional on-point setting, with white-on-white setting blocks that has a pretty paisley print design. The small rose color border sets the interior of the quilt and is also the binding fabric.
The swirl design motif is a nice pattern for this quilt, and the border quilted in the chain and patchwork design complements the plaid fabric.
