Recycled wedding gown – making the old become new! You can too. Stunning idea to repurpose the fabrics from you or your mom’s wedding gown to become the center of the attraction once again. Here C Jean Horst took a customer’s mother’s 75 year old satin wedding gown and incorporated into a stunning quilt. An idea that worked just great! It is posted here to give you the ideas to consider doing this too. You can see the satin in the oval patches and the lace overlaid onto various patches and sewn into the arcs. The binding incorporates small pieces of the satin. The saved bodice of the dress was placed on a little throw pillow also made of original 1941 satin. See the photo of the couples wedding. Imagine the joy this quilt will bring to the family! This is a custom project NOT FOR SALE
